Kenya – the name is almost synonymous with the word “safari”. Perhaps no other place on the planet conjures such a spirit of adventure and romance. For first-time visitors, the sheer diversity of things to do is dazzling. Wildlife, of course, is top on the list. Witness throngs of wildebeest thundering across the savanna during the Great Migration in Maasai Mara, come eye-to-eye with an elephant in Amboseli, or marvel at Lake Nakuru flecked with thousands of flamingoes. In these sun-soaked lands, ancient tribes such as the Maasai, Kikuyu, and Samburu retain their traditional customs, living in relative harmony with the natural world.

However, over 3,000,000 girls miss up to 6 weeks of school per year due to a lack of pads.  Together, we can make a change and help the girls – Help us break the cycle of violence and poverty and give the girls the chance to step into the promise of their future.  A Upendo rep will assist you in your travel planning, to assure proper flights, locations etc.  Your destination airport code is NBO and you need to land in Nairobi on July 11th. 2016 (most flights will leave (YOUR DESTINATION on…. ).

**In addition to raising $ for your trip, you can also raise money for flights or have miles donated to you. Chase points and Amex points are great, United or Delta miles work too. Any and all fundraising for trip and flight must be complete two weeks prior to trip start date. In addition, any reimbursement requests to credit cards for flights with funds raised above and beyond trip costs, must be complete two weeks prior to trip start date.
